Stephen Colbert, a racing driver for 15 years, a race car engineer for 7 of those years and also a driver coach to many of the current professional drivers. As with any serious motorsport career, fitness plays a large part in any success. Having pounded the streets and gyms for many years, I found the world of cycling a much needed break from the norm, the ability to go further, see more of the country and keep inshape at the same time was very appealing.

After a few years combining two wheels with four I began to look at the possibility of producing a bike range where all the same riding qualities where used, yet given a few twists. With my motorsport connections and then the world of Formula 1 having its love affair with Carbon Fibre, why not tap into this source for technical help / design ideas etc. Colbert Cycles was born and with 5 years under its belt in producing / building and helping cyclists from all walks of life get the most from a bicycle, I now have a range of frames and components available to the world.
