Colbert P1 Carbon time trial/triathlon framesets are constructed from M40 High Modulus carbon and come as standard with aero adjustable carbon seat posts and aero carbon bladed fork. The frame incorporates the curved down tube, as used by other high end frame designers, leading to the healthy bottom bracket / chainstay area. To keep with the smooth tapered aero lines of the frame, the rear brake has been lower to the bottom bracket area, where most wind disturbance is already occurring, to allow the cleanest exhaust of the air you`ve just passed through from the upper frame sections. On closer inspection, the frame geometry and styling has been modeled on some of he top TT frames today, seat post / head tube / down tube areas are some of the most advanced available today, yet the price tag means its achievable for every rider.
