Colbert S1 Carbon road framesets are constructed from M40 High Modulus carbon, available in Integrated Seat Post or standard version and come with oversized crown carbon fork. The frame features an oversized lower headtube to stabilize the bike on decents, give more rigidity during out of the saddle climbing and make the steering super positive. The down tube `triangular` section has been incorporated and blends into the bottom bracket area to add strength whilst a large chainstay helps transfer power efficiently. The seat stay width vertically, has been reduced to help absorb road harshness whilst in turn it has been made wider horizontally to keep the rear triangle from flexing when out of the saddle. All this and at a very reasonable price in the current world of carbon bike frames.
